On-Site Support Services
In response to Executive Order 2020-51, the Buckeye Union High School District is providing an on-site support service opportunity to students to come to a district facility to participate in Distance Learning if the student is unable to participate remotely from home. There will not be teachers present for the on-site support service since they are all engaged in virtual instruction in the BUHSD Distance Learning educational service model. Transportation services will not be provided.
On-Site Support Services - Student Eligibility
1. Must be an enrolled Buckeye Union High School District student
2. Must have a valid BUHSD student ID card
3. The District is requesting a signed Waiver or signed Acknowledgement Form by the parent/guardian in order for students to participate.

• Hours of Operation – School days from 7:45 A.M. – 2:45 P.M.
• Entrance is on west side of the building (Kell & Eason)
• Parking on south side of the building along Eason
Safety Protocols
The District will strictly follow the Arizona Department of Health Services and CDC guidelines
• CDC identified symptoms of COVID-19 related illness are:
- Fever Chills - Cough
- Shortness of Breath - Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches - Headache
- New loss of taste or smell - Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose - Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
• If you have or think you have symptoms, or have tested positive for COVID-19, please continue your Distance Learning safely from home.
• Social distancing of 6-ft will be maintained and enforced at all times.
• Face coverings are required at all times for students and staff while in the facility per Maricopa County and the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-51.
• Daily morning temperature checks for students and staff will be administered.
• If student does not drive him or herself to the facility, parents and guardians must accompany student into the building for the student’s temperature check.
• A student with a temperature reading of 100.4 or above or COVID related symptoms will be denied entry into the on-site support services space.
On-Site Support Facility Operational Procedures
• The District will provide students with:
• A staff monitored environment
• Frequent opportunity to wash their hands
• Restrooms
• Hand sanitizing stations
• A work station that is properly social distanced from other students
• Custodial services to maintain cleanliness and disinfecting of surfaces
• IT connectivity service
• Free on-site Meal Services will available for breakfast and lunch
Students must observe the following rules and guidelines:
• Face coverings are required at all times for students while in the facility per Maricopa County and the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-51.
• Student code of conduct and discipline procedures will be enforced
• Follow the direction of monitoring staff at all times
• Wash hands frequently
• Observe strict social distancing of 6-ft at all times
• Bring laptop headphones as to not disturb the learning opportunity of others
• Once inside the facility, exiting is not permitted unless leaving for the remainder of the day
• Lunches can be brought into the facility upon entry, but no heating or cooling devices will be provided (no guardian meal delivery will be permitted)
• Violation of rules or discipline procedures could result in the removal from the On-Site Support Facility
District Cleaning Protocol of the On-Site Support Service Space
• The entire on-site support service space will be sanitized daily including:
• Bathrooms will be cleaned, sanitized, and restocked with all essentials
• All working surfaces will be sanitized
• Trash will be removed
• All working surfaces will be sanitized
• Multiple Times Daily
Clean and Disinfect handles, doorknobs, and high traffic areas
Foyer and temperature scanning station will be sanitized and re-stocked with essentials
Restrooms will be sanitized and restocked with essentials
