The BUHSD Aspiring Administrator Academy is a program developed by our school district to identify and prepare future administrators in our district. The program is designed for participants that are currently enrolled considering enrolling in a university administrator program, or someone who is just considering the possibility of becoming a school administrator. The BUHSD Aspiring Administrator Academy will build on the university and real-world experiences and will allow the participant to apply that knowledge to experiences in our district.
Participants will gain BUHSD specific knowledge of administration as well as have the opportunity to put their knowledge to practical use and gain experience as an administrator in our schools. Participants will also have the opportunity to work with current BUHSD school administration and network with a broad range of current and future school administrators.
It is our belief that the participation in the BUHSD Aspiring Administrator Academy will create well-trained and experienced entry-level administrators that will be prepared to pursue administrative positions in BUHSD and other school districts.
BUHSD Aspiring Administrator Academy
Objective: Participants in the BUHSD Aspiring Administrator Academy will gain BUHSD specific knowledge of administration as well as have the opportunity to put their knowledge to practical use and gain experience as an administrator in our schools.
Goal: Participants can apply university experience and knowledge to contribute to the Academy experience.
Goal: Participants will gain BUHSD specific knowledge and experience about our schools and community.
Goal: Participants will be able to contribute to the positive climate in our schools and community.
Goal: Participants will develop leadership skills and self-confidence and apply those skills in our district and community.
Goal: Participants will be able to network with BUHSD/school level administrators as well as other future administrators.
